I ordered an M1 carbine receiver that I will build into a weapon. How do I list it in my bound book, as a receiver or a long gun ?Russ

I guess I would just list it by serial number and leave everything else blank (caliber, bbl length, etc.) until you finish your project. dirty jim or some of the other gun smithys here can better...

A receiver isn't a C&R weapon and wouldn't be entered in your bound book. It will be a modern weapon after you assemble it. Jim
